Professor Ana is a multiple time world champion, she was one of the best competitors of her generation with an incredible record of 65-0. She was a world champion at every belt, from white all the way to black belt. In addition to being a 3x IBJJF World Champion at black belt. Nowadays, Professor Ana helps the new generation of competitors and instructors to achieve their goals and to become school owners in the future.
Professor Rafael was introduced to jiu-jitsu when he was seventeen years old. After trying jiu-jitsu a few times, he decided to stop playing soccer and invest all his free time in jiu-jitsu. After getting his degree in physical education, he decided to move to the United States to pursue his dream of opening his own school. Professor Rafael is always teaching, training, and he loves to compete.
Coach Richard’s children began training before he ever stepped on the mat 7 years ago; now he enjoys teaching the kids classes at GB Upland during the week. The entire family loves being on the mat together as they develop their jiu-jitsu and learn to foster a community that is stronger together. He feels privileged and loves sharing his passion for jiu-jitsu while spending time with his family on the mats.
